Quickly looking at artsy software on the komputor today I threw these together.  My first-ever attempt at using computer software for drawings.  Not too bad.

I enjoy drawing but am never happy enough with my work to show it to anyone but closes friends.

I could describe my work better than I can show it off I think!
For example, an animation of a dragon that morphs into my then-girlfriend.
Planetscapes
Boats
Drawings of old movie frames
Beauty in general
Some abstract works, some not

I like what I like and am satisfied with what I create.
However I'm always of the opinion that noone else will be.

And so, my portfolio remains blank.  Until I create the perfect work for net-posterity!
Maybe someday I'll post one image.

My friends always urge me to use computer tools to draw but I always resist.
When I use a computer I tend to arcane applications that are not designed for artistic use.
I liked color-dot matrix printers because their mechanical apparatus was inexact.
Today's output devices are so wonderfully perfect that I can't use them.
Is it that I feel I can't compete?  Maybe?
Or maybe I don't want to be poisoned by a particular style of doing things.

In any case I use computers for all types of tasks but eschew them for artistic endeavor.
Lately I think I should be using 3D printers since they seem somehow in their infancy.
Howeer I'm not inclined... would rather sit down and watch Captain Blood or Stargate Atlantis AGAIN than work 10 hours on a 3-space drawing.

Is that true?  Not sure.  At the moment, yes.
